Take a look at the most extraordinary fox series in the world, photographed in Bäretswil near by Zurich/Switzerland

"Hello everyone. I am the clever fox from the Zurich Oberland. After the fresh snow had fallen in the night, I was quite hungry in the morning and left my cave.

The layer of snow had grown to 30cm and I had found a promising place. But I had a hard time to track down the mouse under the snow layer. I sniffled, I dug, I jumped up, and then went deeper into the snow.

After half an hour, my endurance finally paid off and the mouse was trapped. A treat and my stomach growl was over for now.

However, I didn't realise that I was quite close to a house and a photographer shot this unique series of pictures of me. From beginning to end, these pictures prove it. I'm pretty proud of it, because only individual pictures of my conspecifics have appeared so far. It happened Easter 2008.”
